Would the Lindsey Bluth fan working at the Walt Disney Studios please stand up
Oh these new shirts? Yeah - they’re all up at the RISC Store. And that poster? Yeah, it’s there as well. I’ll just leave this here.
Mitch Hurwitz has good news for Arrested Development fans. "I’m working on the movie right now," the show’s creator tells us.
I think I just blue myself.
‘Arrested Development’ WILL be back in some form. On Netflix.
‘I kinda go back and forth between [a movie] and a series. But here’s the most important thing, whatever we do, I want to get the cast all together and not do another anthology thing, and that’s why I keep thinking about kicking off with a special or a three-part show and then going into a series.”
So basically, he wants to do it the right way. Good on him.
The world is filled with ambitious kids, teenagers, and adults. To fulfill the ambition, we continue our lives happily. We are so confident that in our minds we contain all of our ideas. Most of our ideas are forgotten, lost in the back. Those ideas are hidden in our silhouettes. It’s time to color in the lines.
I have high ambitions. I’m always thinking of new projects, new ideas, and new philosophies. That said, it has lead me to create a project called Just Be You.
This is my Me Board. Quite simply, it’s a 3ft x 2ft white board conjured up with professions, careers, and ideas that define me. In black marker, I wrote, “Who do you want to be,” with multiple careers and professions answering that question in black and red marker. All of those professions interest me. If I could, I would be all of those things. The giant blue question mark indicates that these words answer the question. Inside of the blue question mark, I wrote “I want to be me.” The green marker indicates the symbols that make me happy. In the top right corner, I wrote, “There is nothing I want more than to be happy.”
There is not a person in the world that wants to be miserable all their life. This is my Me Board. The Just Be You Project is for everyone. This project allows time for anyone to absorb their thoughts and paint them on a blank white board. Follow the same guidelines:
- Write “Who do you want to be” at the top
- Draw a giant question mark
- Color code everything you have
- Draw everything that makes you happy in the white spaces
- Be creative
My goal is for everyone to identify who they really are. Add on to the board as your days go on. The finishing project should be a beautiful masterpiece that profiles you. Follow everything that you believe in. Unfortunately, we can’t be everything that we want. However, we can look at a board and realize who we can be. And that means everything. Be artistic. Be fun. Put on some music. Get lost in yourself. Meditate. When you are standing in front of a white board with a marker, you just took the role of your life. You are your own maker. Just Be You.
If you are interested in this project, please give it a shot and share with as many people as you can. Everyone deserves to be happy and follow something that can make them happy.
I always thought that Arrested Development’s Tobias Fünke and Community’s Dean Pelton are very similar characters, both insanely funny and extremely oblivious to world. Constantly making homosexual innuendos and showing up in weird costumes for no apparent reason. This tee is my tribute to the two funniest TV characters of all time.
